Brutal Assault Linked to Bike Theft in Florencio Varela

In the Buenos Aires district of Florencio Varela, a double murder took place that shocked the local community. Paloma Gallardo and Josué Salvatierra lost their lives last Saturday under violent circumstances. The tragedy originated from an incident related to the theft of a bicycle and triggered a series of unfortunate events.

According to witnesses, the young people were dragged several blocks, and the 16-year-old boy was attacked with a knife while trying to recover the stolen bicycle. The situation worsens with the revelation that the criminals had previously stolen a person's cell phone on a train.

Relatives and friends of the victims decided to intervene and went to the 4th police station to report the theft and demand the bicycle. Despite living in San Rudecindo, one station after Bosques, Paloma and Josué decided to confront the alleged thieves, a decision that led to the tragedy.

The lead on the possible killers began to take shape from messages received by the mother of the deceased boy on her Facebook profile. A user identified two individuals, David S. and Hipólito C., known as "el Chino" or "Poly", as responsible for the crimes committed in the area. Photos of the alleged criminals were presented, and an additional incident was reported in which they used a stone and knives to perpetrate an attack.

These disturbing details, combined with the circumstances of the double murder, have generated consternation in the Florencio Varela community. The excessive violence and the loss of young lives like those of Paloma and Josué demand not only justice but also measures to prevent future similar episodes.
